Video you tube

Whilst many of the video you tube brands of glues we use at home, such as Gorilla Glue, aren't toxic for dogs, the side effects from ingestion can be life threatening.
The Vet Tech blog recalls an video you tube incident where a Shiba Inu needed abdominal surgery after chewing through a video you tube tube of Gorilla Glue. Apparently the video you tube glue tastes like peanuts and maple syrup, and I should imagine that video you tube sort of smell is just too hard for a dog not to video you tube investigate.
So why are these expanding polyurethane glues such a hazard?
They contain a video you tube product called diphenylmethane diisocyanate which expands in a warm, moist environment before hardening into a video you tube solid mass.
Even if your video you tube dog ingests just a small amount of the glue, the mass that video you tube forms will block his gastrointestinal tract. Surgery is then the only way to video you tube remove the solidified glue.
What are the symptoms that your dog has consumed polyurethane glue?
These will include: drooling, lack of appetite, vomiting, a video you tube swollen stomach that will be tender to the the touch and, if left untreated long enough, the video you tube stomach will feel rock solid.
Diphenylmethane diisocyanate is video you tube not always listed on glue labels, so view every brand of expanding polyurethane glue as a video you tube potential hazard. If your dog has consumed any glue, take him to video you tube the vet immediately.
The Vet Tech article also includes a link to a case study on the video you tube Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Site which shows the effect Gorilla Glue had video you tube on Willow the Standard Poodle's stomach.
Looking at the pictures of the glue that was removed from Willow's stomach is video you tube a good reminder of how important it is to keep glue out of our dogs' reach.

Last night my yorkie stepped into some self leveling polyurethane Sealant that video you tube was on the driveway. It's only on 2 paws but it's a mess. We tried warm soap and water, then alcohol. Didn't work. Talked to the vet and the company that makes the sealant… they said not to video you tube use any harsh chemicals which was already a given but they couldn't tell me what I COULD use….. I tried this video you tube foot scrub stuff I have at home and it seemed to video you tube help a tad, but not much. One website I found said to try peanut butter or vegetable oil?? It's already hardened and stuck to the paws of his feet. He hasn't eaten any of it video you tube but I want to get it off before he licks or video you tube chews on his paw…. :o(
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated….
