Cocoa Mulch Kills Family's Labrador
Posted by Clare Bristow | Leave a Comment
A chocolate Labrador called Moose has died from eating an unknown quantity of cocoa mulch.
Cocoa Mulch is made from the shells of cocoa beans and is a popular garden mulch not only because it looks attractive, but it's also a good termite deterrent and is known to kill slugs - the bane of any gardener's life.
Unfortunately the mulch also contains theobromine, a substance that's toxic to dogs.

This puppy video shows two Labradors, Ben and Tegan playing together. It reminds me of when Fritz and Zoe have chews - Fritz just gets on and eats his whilst Zoe always keeps an eye on Fritz to see if she can spot an opportunity to snaffle his chew!
Enjoy the video, it runs for 2m35s.
